Prepare and cook a wide range of Continental and Italian dishes as per restaurant standards.
Handle Italian cuisine including Pasta, Pizza, Risotto, Lasagna, Sauces, Salads and other Italian specialties.
Prepare Continental dishes such as Grills, Sandwiches, Starters, Main Course and Breakfast items.
Maintain food quality, taste, presentation and hygiene standards.
Follow recipes, SOPs and portion control to maintain consistency.
Manage kitchen operations and coordinate with other kitchen team members.
Maintain proper stock, minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are followed at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Continental / Italian Chef.
Good knowledge of Continental and Italian cuisine.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Relevant hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
