We are looking for an experienced and high-energy Head Chef to lead our cafe kitchen. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of all Continental and Chinese dishes, ensuring top-notch taste and lightning-fast delivery for both dine-in customers and online delivery platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Mastery: Prepare and oversee a wide range of Continental and Chinese dishes with consistent taste and quality.
KOT Management: Efficiently read and process Kitchen Order Tickets (KOT) to ensure no order is missed or delayed.
Dual-Channel Management: Simultaneously manage high-pressure dine-in crowds and a heavy flow of delivery orders without compromising on speed.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and instruct junior kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a smooth workflow.
Efficiency & Speed: Maintain a high pace of cooking ("Good and Fast") to ensure low wait times.
Inventory & Hygiene: Manage kitchen inventory, minimize wastage, and ensure 100% compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards.
Job Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior CDP in a fast-paced cafe/restaurant.
Cuisine Expertise: Deep knowledge of Continental (Pasta, Pizzas, Steaks, etc.) and Chinese (Wok cooking, Starters, etc.) cuisines.
Skills: Strong leadership, ability to work under pressure, and excellent time management.
Communication: Must be able to clearly instruct staff and coordinate with the front-of-house team.
