Job Title: Continental ChefLocation: Calcutta Cutting Cafe, KolkataJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and dependable Continental Chef to join our kitchen team. The role focuses on preparing popular continental dishes with consistency, speed, and good presentation, suitable for a café setup.Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook continental dishes including pasta, pizza, garlic bread, sandwiches, and café-style appetizers • Ensure taste consistency, portion control, and quality across all dishes • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the kitchen • Manage basic food preparation, chopping, sauces, and baking • Coordinate with the kitchen and service team during peak hours • Assist in stock usage and minimize food wastage • Follow café recipes and plating standardsRequired Skills & Experience • Proven experience as a Continental Chef or Commis in a café or casual dining setup • Good knowledge of pasta, pizza bases, sauces, and oven operations • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Understanding of basic kitchen hygiene and safety standards • Team player with a positive attitudeExperience: • 1 to 3 years preferred (freshers with strong continental skills can also apply)Working Hours: • As per café shift scheduleSalary: • As per experience and skill levelWhy Join Us • Friendly café environment • Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding café brand • Creative input encouraged for menu improvement
