Job Title: Continental Chef
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to prepare high-quality dishes from European cuisines. The candidate should have strong knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation styles.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes (Italian, French, Mediterranean, etc.)
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Plan menus and suggest new recipes
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen
Manage kitchen inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Work closely with kitchen staff for smooth operations
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain cost efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role
Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good time management and teamwork skills
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
Preferred Skills:
Creativity in plating and presentation
Knowledge of sauces, grills, and baking
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety standards
Experience:
2–5 years (can adjust based on your requirement)
