Job Title: Commis III (Kitchen Staff)

Job Summary:
The Commis III is an entry-level kitchen role responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in the culinary field within a dynamic pub environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in basic food preparation (cutting, chopping, marinating, portioning)
Prepare ingredients as per recipes and kitchen standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and kitchen equipment
Follow instructions from Commis I/II, CDP, and Sous Chef
Ensure proper storage of food items (FIFO method)
Help in plating and presentation as guided by senior chefs
Maintain stock levels and inform seniors for replenishment
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours
Requirements:
0–1 year of kitchen experience (freshers can apply)
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Skills:
Basic cooking and knife skills
Hygiene and food safety awareness
Time management
Teamwork and discipline
Ability to work under pressure
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
Rotational shifts including late nights
Salary Range (India – Approx.):
₹13,000 – ₹13,500 per month
On Duty meals, incentives, PF AND ESIC.
