Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist senior chefs during busy service periods.
Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors about shortages.
Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in Continental or Chinese cuisine.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and oversee Continental and Chinese food production.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Manage daily kitchen operations for the assigned section.
Train and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen staff.
Maintain food cost controls and reduce wastage.
Monitor inventory, ordering, and stock management.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and kitchen SOPs.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth guest experience.
Develop new menu items and seasonal specials when required.
Requirements:
3-8 years of experience in Continental and/or Chinese cuisine.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food production.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to handle high-volume operations and pressure situations.
Knowledge of inventory management and food costing.
Hotel management qualification preferred.
