Assist in the preparation and production of South Indian dishes such as Idli, Vada, Dosa, Uttapam, Sambhar, Chutneys, and regional specialties.
Ensure ingredients are prepared and available as per daily production requirements.
Follow recipes, portion standards, and quality guidelines set by the organization.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
Assist senior chefs during food preparation and service operations.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items in accordance with food safety standards.
Minimize food wastage and support inventory control activities.
Follow all kitchen SOPs, food safety regulations, and company policies.
Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours.
Requirements
0–2 years of experience in South Indian Cuisine or restaurant kitchen operations.
Basic knowledge of South Indian food preparation techniques.
Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
Hotel Management qualification or relevant culinary training will be an added advantage.
