Job Title: Commis Chef (Continental)
We are hiring for A Commis Chef (Continental) who has to assists in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality Continental cuisine, under the supervision of senior chefs.
Key duties include washing, chopping, and preparing ingredients; ensuring kitchen hygiene and sanitation; monitoring stock and food quality; and supporting the culinary team to maintain efficient operations and deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Job Location: Orriva by Awadh Palace, Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad.
Job Timings: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
· Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other items for various dishes, including basic salads and sauces.
· Cooking Assistance: Assist senior chefs in cooking, seasoning, and plating meals according to established recipes and standards.
· Kitchen Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
· Inventory & Stock Management: Receive deliveries, check for quality, take inventory of supplies, and report when items are running low or have expired.
· Teamwork & Operations: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient operations.
· Quality Control: Monitor the quality of ingredients and final dishes to ensure consistency and adherence to high culinary standards.
· Menu Familiarization: Learn menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation techniques, to support guests and other team members.
Skills & Qualifications
· A strong foundation in Continental cuisine and various cooking techniques (e.g., sautéing, roasting) is beneficial.
· Passion for culinary arts and strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
· Prior experience in a professional kitchen environment is often preferred.
