Chinese Fast Food Chef

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chinese/Momos Chef with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine and a variety of momos. The ideal candidate should be able to maintain consistent food quality, ensure kitchen hygiene, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes, including noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, chilli dishes, soups, and other menu items.

• Prepare different varieties of momos, including steamed, fried, tandoori, kurkure, and pan-fried momos.

• Prepare fresh momo fillings, dough, chutneys, sauces, and marinades.

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.

• Maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Manage kitchen inventory and inform management about stock requirements.

• Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.

• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff and service team to ensure timely order preparation.

• Assist in developing new recipes and menu items when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and momo preparation.

• Expertise in wok cooking and high-flame cooking techniques.

• Ability to prepare sauces, gravies, and seasonings from scratch.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.

• Ability to work under pressure during peak business hours.

• Good time management and teamwork skills.

• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Chinese/Momos Chef.

• Experience in restaurants, food courts, cloud kitchens, or QSR outlets is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of inventory management and kitchen operations.
