Reporting To: Kitchen Supervisor / F&B Manager
We are looking for an experienced and efficient Chef/Cook to manage daily food preparation for the staff canteen at Navi Mumbai International Airport. The candidate should be capable of handling bulk cooking, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring timely food service.
Prepare and cook meals in bulk as per daily menu plan
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per airport and FSSAI norms
Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food
Monitor stock levels and coordinate for purchase requirements
Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe kitchen environment
Support in menu planning for staff meals
Handle kitchen equipment properly and report maintenance issues
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in bulk cooking / industrial kitchen / canteen
Experience in handling 100–500 meals per day preferred
Knowledge of Indian cuisine (North & South Indian)
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in shifts (including early morning shifts)
Physically fit and able to work in high-pressure environments
Valid documents required for airport entry (AEP, Police Verification, etc.)
