Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Outlet Chef specializing in Italian Cuisine to oversee kitchen operations and ensure high standards of food quality, taste, presentation and hygiene. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on culinary expertise, experience in managing outlet kitchen operations and the ability to maintain consistency in food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day kitchen operations at the outlet.

• Prepare and oversee authentic Italian cuisine, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

• Have hands-on expertise in preparing Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, risotto, sauces and other Italian specialties.

• Ensure proper food preparation, portion control and plating standards.

• Maintain food quality, hygiene, sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.

• Monitor kitchen inventory, stock levels and ingredient requirements.

• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and minimize food wastage.

• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely food delivery during operations.

• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.

• Maintain standard recipes and follow established food preparation procedures.

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and kitchen operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–8 years of relevant experience in the culinary field.

• Strong specialization and hands-on experience in Italian Cuisine is mandatory.

• Good knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients and recipes.

• Experience in handling independent outlet kitchen operations.

• Knowledge of food costing, inventory management and kitchen hygiene.

• Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Important Selection Criteria

1. Candidates must have relevant experience in Italian Cuisine.

2. Immediate joiners will be preferred.

3. Mandatory Food Trial: Shortlisted candidates must appear for a practical Food Trial to demonstrate their culinary skills.

Note: Candidates without hands-on experience in Italian Cuisine will not be considered.
