Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced North Indian Chef who can prepare basic North Indian dishes as well as simple Maharashtrian items. The candidate should also be able to make basic snack items and support our catering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare North Indian dishes such as roti, sabzi, dal, rice varieties, paneer dishes, etc.
Prepare simple Maharashtrian items like poha, upma, misal, etc.
Make basic vegetarian snacks (vada pav, sandwiches, pakoras, etc.)
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Ensure kitchen hygiene and follow all safety standards
Assist in planning and preparing bulk orders for catering
Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth daily operations
Requirements:
Experience in North Indian cooking (mandatory)
Ability to prepare basic Maharashtrian dishes
Basic snack-making skills
Knowledge of pure vegetarian cooking (no eggs)
Ability to handle bulk quantities for catering
Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
Reliability, discipline, and willingness to learn
