We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tandoor Chef to prepare high-quality tandoori dishes in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines. The candidate should have strong knowledge of tandoor operations, marination techniques, and food safety standards.
Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori dishes such as naan, roti, kebabs, tikka, and other grilled items.
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
Prepare marinades, sauces, and accompaniments as per recipe standards.
Ensure proper food presentation, taste, and quality control.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area as per food safety guidelines.
Monitor food stock levels and inform management about inventory requirements.
Follow portion control and minimize food wastage.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or similar role.
Good knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
Team player with good communication skills.
