Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dim sum, momos, dumplings, noodles, soups, and Chinese dishes.

• Maintain authenticity in taste, texture, and presentation.

• Handle steaming, boiling, pan-frying, deep-frying, and wok cooking techniques.

2. Quality & Consistency

• Ensure consistent taste, portioning, and plating across all dishes.

• Follow brand SOPs and recipe standards designed by Momo Delights’ corporate kitchen.

• Conduct regular tasting sessions to maintain product quality.

3. Kitchen Operations

• Manage daily mise-en-place and ensure smooth kitchen workflow.

• Maintain clean and sanitized working stations at all times.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store manager for raw material needs.

4. Hygiene & Safety

• Follow FSSAI guidelines, food safety protocols, and kitchen hygiene standards.

• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and FIFO in all kitchen sections.

5. Teamwork & Training

• Work closely with kitchen staff and support team development.

• Train junior cooks on preparation, cooking methods, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Dim Sum Chef, Chinese Chef, or similar role.

• Strong expertise in dumpling making, dim sum crafting, and Chinese wok skills.

• Knowledge of sauces, stocks, seasonings, and Asian flavor profiles.

• Ability to handle high-volume operations in a quick-service environment.

• Good communication skills and a positive work attitude.
