A Malvani Chef specializes in preparing authentic Malvani cuisine, including seafood, chicken, mutton, and vegetarian dishes using traditional spices and cooking techniques. The chef is responsible for maintaining consistency in taste, ensuring food quality, managing kitchen operations, and following hygiene and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Malvani dishes such as fish curry, fish fry, kombdi vade, mutton sukka, sol kadhi, and vegetarian specialties.

• Ensure consistent taste, quality, presentation, and portion control for all menu items.

• Prepare and use traditional Malvani masalas, coconut-based gravies, and regional ingredients.

• Clean, marinate, and cook seafood, poultry, meat, and vegetarian dishes according to recipes.

• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.

• Monitor inventory, order kitchen supplies, and minimize food wastage.

• Inspect ingredient freshness and ensure proper food storage.

• Assist in menu planning and introduce seasonal or specialty Malvani dishes.

• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required.

• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food preparation during service.
