We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our café team. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing inventory, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation of all menu items.
Prepare and cook food according to café recipes and standards.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are maintained consistently.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
Monitor stock levels and inform management about inventory requirements.
Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs.
Train and guide kitchen staff when required.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
Develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor.
Knowledge of café-style food preparation, snacks, sandwiches, pizzas, pasta, and beverages.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills
Experience in café or restaurant operations.
