Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic South Indian & Pastry Head Chef who can lead kitchen operations with confidence and expertise. The ideal candidate should be bold, hardworking, and capable of handling both authentic South Indian cuisine and pastry/bakery production while managing the team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
South Indian Section:
Prepare authentic South Indian dishes (Dosa, Idli, Vada, Sambar, Chutneys, Meals, etc.)
Maintain taste consistency and presentation standards
Handle bulk orders and peak-hour operations
Pastry & Bakery Section:
Prepare cakes, pastries, desserts, and bakery items
Innovate new dessert menus and seasonal specials
Ensure quality control and hygiene standards
Leadership & Operations:
Handle complete kitchen operations independently
Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff
Manage inventory, costing, and wastage control
Ensure FSSAI and hygiene compliance
Take ownership of targets and operational challenges
Maintain discipline and teamwork in the kitchen
Candidate Profile:
5+ years of experience as Head Chef / Senior Chef
Strong expertise in South Indian cuisine and Pastry/Bakery
Bold, confident, and result-oriented personality
Strong leadership and team management skills
Hard worker and ready to take challenges
Immediate joiners preferred
