Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Pan Asian Commi Chef to support kitchen operations in preparing authentic Asian cuisine. The candidate will assist senior chefs in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of Pan Asian dishes including Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisine
Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, marinating, and sauce preparation
Support wok cooking, stir-fry, and basic sushi or dim sum preparation
Ensure proper mise en place before service
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per kitchen standards
Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines
Assist senior chefs (CDP/DCDP) during service hours
Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages
Ensure proper storage of ingredients as per food safety standards
Required Skills
Knowledge of Pan Asian cuisine (Chinese, Thai, Japanese)
Basic wok cooking and stir-fry techniques
Understanding of sauces, spices, and Asian ingredients
Good knife skills and kitchen discipline
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
