We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis 2 – Hyderabadi Biryani Chef with hands-on experience in preparing authentic Hyderabadi-style biryani and other Indian dishes. The candidate will support the kitchen team in maintaining consistent taste, quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biryani as per standard recipes and SOPs.
Handle rice preparation, marination, masala preparation, layering, and dum cooking.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, aroma, and portion size.
Prepare biryani ingredients including chicken/mutton marination, gravies, raita, and accompaniments.
Assist the Senior Chef/Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Follow standard recipes, cooking procedures, and portion controls.
Maintain proper food storage and ensure FIFO practices.
Check the quality and freshness of raw materials before preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cooking area, utensils, and equipment.
Follow food safety and personal hygiene standards at all times.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper stock usage.
Support the kitchen team during peak production hours.
Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
