Bengali Chef

We are looking for a Bengali Chef to join our team at Saha Foods and prepare delicious meals for the guests. Key responsibility includes preparing and delivering high-quality dishes, setting up the menu, and delegating tasks to kitchen staff (If needed). The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹25,000.

Skills Required for Bengali Cook:

• Expertise in authentic Bengali cuisine (veg & non-veg)

• Proficiency in dishes like Bengali Biryani, Macher Jhol, Chingri Malai Curry, Shorshe Ilish, Kosha Mangsho

• Strong knowledge of traditional spices (panch phoron, mustard paste, etc.)

• Ability to maintain authentic taste and presentation

• Experience in preparing both daily meals and bulk orders

• Knowledge of fish cutting, cleaning, and marination techniques

• Ability to manage kitchen operations independently

• Understanding of hygiene, food safety, and storage practices

• Experience in handling tandoor or Chinese (optional, if needed)

• Time management and ability to work under pressure

• Menu planning and portion control skills

• Consistency in taste and quality

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 3 - 6+ years of experience. Familiarity with cooking techniques (advance & non-traditional), recipes, and sanitation regulations are ideal for the position. The role requires excellent time management and leadership skills. A culinary school diploma or certification in a similar field is a plus.
