Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. In this role, you will craft high-quality coffee and specialty beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold drinks (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, and specialty beverages) strictly following standard recipes.

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and handle inquiries or special requests with patience and a positive attitude.

• POS & Transactions: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process cash and digital payments accurately, and issue receipts.

• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Keep the counter, espresso machines, grinders, seating area, and prep stations clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift in compliance with health and safety standards.

• Inventory & Stocking: Monitor ingredient and supply levels (coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, pastries), restock stations, and report equipment maintenance needs or low stock to the manager.

• Food Handling: Serve bakery items, pastries, or light lunch options following food safety and hygiene protocols.
  
  Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience as a barista, waiter, or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred, though on-the-job training is available for the right candidate.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

  • Technical Ability: Familiarity with commercial espresso machines, grinders, and POS software.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
