Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty bakery items as per standard recipes.
Manage daily production schedules and ensure timely output.
Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, texture, and presentation.
Supervise, train, and guide Commis Chefs and bakery assistants.
Monitor ingredient stock levels and coordinate ordering requirements.
Ensure proper storage, FIFO practices, and stock rotation.
Minimize wastage and maintain food cost targets.
Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards in the bakery section.
Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist in new recipe development, menu engineering, and seasonal product launches.
Ensure all production records and inventory logs are maintained accurately.
