Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bakery & Pastry Chef to prepare high-quality baked goods, desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and confectionery items. The ideal candidate should have strong baking skills, creativity in presentation, and knowledge of bakery operations, food safety, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, muffins, and desserts.
Develop and decorate pastries, cakes, and specialty dessert items.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough sheeters, and proofers.
Monitor baking process, temperatures, and product quality.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery section.
Manage ingredient inventory and report stock requirements.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety regulations.
Assist in creating seasonal menus and new dessert recipes.
Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of bakery products.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques.
Creativity in cake decoration and dessert presentation.
Knowledge of ingredients, measurements, and baking temperatures.

Qualifications
Diploma or certification in Bakery, Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or Hotel Management preferred.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a bakery, hotel, café, or pastry kitchen.
Experience in commercial baking equipment and production methods.
Working Conditions
Rotational shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
