Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Bakery cum Continental Chef who can independently manage bakery and continental kitchen operations, lead the kitchen team, delegate responsibilities, and ensure timely and consistent food production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the bakery and continental kitchen team.

• Plan daily production and allocate work to kitchen staff.

• Prepare and oversee bakery, desserts, breads, and continental dishes.

• Ensure consistent taste, quality, presentation, and portion standards.

• Monitor staff performance and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

• Train, guide, and coordinate with kitchen team members.

• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and kitchen discipline.

• Monitor ingredients, stock usage, wastage, and production requirements.

• Coordinate with management regarding menus, requirements, and kitchen operations.

• Take ownership of kitchen output and resolve operational issues effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• 3–10+ years of relevant experience in Bakery & Continental cuisine.

• Strong knowledge of bakery products and continental dishes.

• Proven ability to lead, supervise, authorize, and get work completed through a team.

• Good understanding of kitchen operations, food costing, hygiene, and inventory.

• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle pressure.

• Hospitality/hotel experience preferred.
