About Bonbonniere

Bonbonniere is a semi-artisanal bakery and patisserie based in Pune, specialising in European-style breads, viennoiserie, pastries, desserts and specialty bakery products.

We are a growing production-focused kitchen supplying both retail and wholesale clients, and we're looking for someone who enjoys working with good ingredients, cares about consistency and wants to develop their skills.

The Role

We are looking for a Junior Baker / Pastry Chef to join our production team.

The role will involve working across our bread and pastry production, assisting with daily preparation, baking, finishing and maintaining consistency across products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily bakery and pastry production

• Prepare and bake breads, buns, focaccia and other bakery products

• Assist with pastry, desserts and basic cake production

• Follow recipes and production processes accurately

• Maintain consistency in weight, shape, texture and finish

• Handle doughs, mixing, proofing, baking and basic finishing

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area

• Follow proper food safety, hygiene and storage practices

• Work efficiently as part of a small production team

• Assist with daily production planning and preparation when required

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in a bakery, patisserie, hotel or restaurant kitchen preferred

• Basic understanding of baking and pastry techniques

• Hands-on experience with breads or pastry is an advantage

• Good work ethic and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and improve

• Ability to follow recipes and production standards

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Punctual, organised and responsible

• A genuine interest in baking and food

Freshers with relevant bakery/pastry training may also be considered.
