Job Summary
The Executive – Supply Chain is responsible for supporting the procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution functions to ensure the uninterrupted availability of materials across all business locations. The role focuses on vendor coordination, inventory optimization, timely dispatches, data analysis, and maintaining an efficient supply chain while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
Source and procure materials in accordance with organizational requirements and approved budgets.
Negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing, favourable commercial terms, and timely deliveries.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Assist in evaluating vendor performance and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct periodic inventory audits and investigate stock discrepancies.
Ensure timely replenishment of materials to prevent operational shortages.
Logistics & Distribution
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for timely movement of materials.
Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure deliveries reach the designated centers within committed timelines.
Liaise with transport vendors and warehouse personnel to resolve logistics-related issues.
Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, and logistics records.
Generate periodic MIS reports and analyze key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Support management with reports and data required for planning and decision-making.
Risk Management & Process Improvement
Identify potential supply chain risks, including material shortages, delayed deliveries, and vendor-related issues.
Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions.
Recommend process improvements to strengthen procurement and supply chain efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and statutory requirements.
Required Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
