The PPC Supervisor is responsible for production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and monitoring manufacturing activities to ensure timely completion of production orders as per quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
Issue production work orders and monitor execution as per plan.
Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to minimize delays.
Ensure availability of raw materials, consumables, and WIP as per production schedule.
Coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments for timely procurement.
Monitor inventory levels and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
Track production progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
Identify bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions.
Monitor machine utilization, manpower allocation, and output efficiency.
Act as a link between Sales, Production, Purchase, Stores, and Quality teams.
Communicate changes in production plans to all concerned departments.
Participate in production meetings and report plan vs. actual performance.
Maintain production records, planning sheets, and MIS reports.
Prepare daily/weekly production status reports.
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.
Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing / TPM / Kaizen initiatives.
Strong knowledge of production planning and control processes
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / any ERP)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
