Job Title: Procurement Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to achieve the best value
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams
Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues
Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities
Track procurement performance and prepare reports
Ensure compliance with company procedures and legal requirements
Handle documentation, invoices, and payment follow-ups
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing (preferred)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of vendor management and sourcing strategies
Ability to analyze data and manage costs effectively
Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement software/ERP
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
