Purchase Executive – EDM Department | Chakan, Pune

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our EDM Department at Chakan, Pune. Candidates with experience in procurement, vendor management, purchase planning, and material sourcing within a manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply.

Location: Chakan, Pune

Experience Required: 1–4 Years

Employment Type: Third-Party Payroll

Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials, tools, consumables, and other production-related items as per business requirements.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate with vendors for order execution.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, vendor databases, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with Store, Production, Planning, and Quality departments for procurement requirements.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Support inventory planning and procurement activities to avoid material shortages.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1–4 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, or Supply Chain functions.
• Experience in vendor development, supplier coordination, and procurement processes.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP software.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
