Role Summary

The Senior Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing accurate store inventory, acting as the primary point of contact for all purchase activities, and ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials, machinery parts, and miscellaneous items. The role also focuses on cost optimization, vendor development, and process improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities - :

Procurement & Buying

· Source and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, machinery parts, and miscellaneous items.

· Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.

· Implement cost-cutting strategies without compromising quality.

Inventory & Store Management

· Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels efficiently.

· Coordinate with the store and production teams to prevent overstock or stockouts.

· Support inventory audits and cycle counts.

Vendor Management & Development

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

· Evaluate vendor performance based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.

· Identify new suppliers to reduce cost and improve supply chain efficiency.

Cross-Functional Coordination & MIS

· Coordinate with Production, Quality, Accounts, and Logistics for smooth operations.

· Prepare purchase reports and MIS on material costs, lead times, and vendor performance.

Documentation & Compliance

· Maintain accurate documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, contracts).

· Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and company procedures.
