Purchase & Operations Executive – Biomass Manufacturing

Rohit Exergy India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a hardworking, practical and field-oriented Procurement & Operations Executive to support our biomass pellet manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on field role involving raw material sourcing, supplier development, market visits, purchasing, transportation coordination and day-to-day plant requirements.

The right candidate should be comfortable travelling, making calls, visiting suppliers, negotiating prices and taking ownership of getting things done.

Key Responsibilities

• Source wood waste, sawdust, wood chips and other suitable biomass raw materials.

• Identify and develop new suppliers through cold calling, field visits, references and local market research.

• Visit sawmills, furniture units, plywood/wood-processing units, timber markets and other potential sources.

• Negotiate rates and coordinate material collection and transportation.

• Monitor daily raw material requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.

• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters and local vendors.

• Procure spare parts, tools, electrical items, hardware, consumables and other materials required for plant operations.

• Coordinate with local mechanics, service providers and other vendors whenever required.

• Support loading, unloading, dispatch and other practical plant activities when required.

• Maintain basic records of suppliers, rates, purchases and deliveries.

• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.

Candidate Profile

• 10th / 12th pass or above.

• Freshers may apply; field/procurement experience will be preferred.

• Experience in procurement, field sales, local purchasing, logistics, trading, wood/biomass, scrap or similar field-based work is an advantage.

• Must be comfortable with extensive field travel.

• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Maps and a smartphone.

• Good Hindi communication.

• Should be comfortable speaking with suppliers, factory owners, shopkeepers, transporters and vendors.

• Practical, energetic and willing to take responsibility.

• Should be comfortable with both field work and supporting day-to-day plant requirements.

Compensation

Fixed Pay: ₹17,000–₹22,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.

Travel allowance/reimbursement will be provided separately for official travel.

The role will involve regular travel around Hapur, Delhi NCR, Western Uttar Pradesh and nearby sourcing areas from 50 to 200+ Kms
