Role Overview
The Purchase Manager will handle buying of all materials, furniture, fittings, and services needed for interior projects. The role ensures the right items are bought at the right cost, quality, and time.
Main Responsibilities
· Find and deal with vendors for furniture, lighting, hardware, fabrics, and décor items.
· Take quotations, compare prices, and finalize orders.
· Issue purchase orders and keep proper records.
· Make sure materials reach sites on time.
· Check quality and quantity of delivered items.
· Work with designers and site team to understand project needs.
· Maintain vendor contacts and build good relationships.
· Prepare simple reports of purchases and expenses.
Skills Needed
· Knowledge of interior design materials (wood, laminates, lighting, fabrics, etc.).
· Good negotiation and communication skills.
· Basic computer knowledge (Excel / ERP preferred).
· Organized and detail-oriented.
Qualification & Experience
· Graduate in Commerce / Business / Supply Chain (preferred).
