Job Description:
We are seeking a Purchase Executive / Purchase Engineer with experience in Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems to manage procurement activities for projects. The role involves sourcing quality materials at competitive prices and ensuring timely delivery as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement of fire fighting, fire alarm and life safety system materials as per BOQ and specifications
Vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and finalization
Preparation of comparative statements and issuance of purchase orders
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure order accuracy
Follow-up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials
Coordination with project, site, design and stores teams for material planning
Ensuring materials comply with NFPA, IS, UL and FM standards
Verification of invoices, GST, warranties and technical documents
Maintaining accurate procurement records and supporting cost control
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of fire safety equipment and materials is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Good communication and coordination abilities
Qualification :Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Experience :
3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in fire protection, MEP, or construction industry.
