The Retention Manager plays a critical role in revenue protection, student satisfaction, and
course completion. This position owns the post-sales student life cycle, ensuring students
remain engaged, financially compliant, and academically on track from enrollment through
course commencement and progression. The success of this role is measured by reduced
cancellations, improved student engagement, and higher retention rates, directly impacting
business stability and growth.
Roles n Responsibilities:
Design and implement a mandatory student on-boarding and welcome protocol to ensure a
smooth handover from Sales to Academics.
Organize and lead mandatory orientation programs covering Attendance and academic
discipline,Assignment and project expectations, Mock interviews and placement
process,Student responsibilities and support structure
Monitor and track attendance for live and recorded sessions; proactively flag students at
dropout risk
Serve as a bridge between students, trainers, placement team, and operations to ensure a
seamless learning experience.Provide guidance on learning paths within the IT domain
Conduct root cause analysis for all cancellations and escalations.
Technical Skills required:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
3 years of hands-on experience in sales and Operation
Industry preference will be Education Sector
Ability to motivate, guide, and support students in achieving their goals
