Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations including production, warehouse, and dispatch.

• Ensure adherence to production schedules and achievement of output targets.

• Monitor manpower planning, machine utilization, and workflow optimization.

• Implement and monitor ERP systems for accurate production and inventory tracking.

• Validate material consumption, yield, wastage, and cost reports.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

• Ensure implementation of SOPs and compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, QA, maintenance, and finance teams.

• Track KPIs and prepare MIS reports for management review.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Control operational costs including labor, materials, and overheads.

• Lead, train, and develop the operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Operations / Industrial / Supply Chain or related field

• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations

• Experience in discrete manufacturing / assembly preferred

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of production planning and plant operations

• Hands-on experience with ERP / manufacturing systems

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process optimization

• Analytical skills for cost control and performance monitoring

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

• Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
