We are looking for a highly analytical and automation-driven IT MIS Executive to strengthen our reporting and tool management functions.

Role Overview

The IT MIS Executive will primarily manage MIS reporting across IT and Security platforms, with a strong focus on automation and reporting efficiency. The role will include handling reporting for security tools like EDR/XDR, tracking performance metrics, compliance data, and ensuring reporting accuracy.

This role emphasizes automation, data discipline, and internal coordination, with minimal vendor interaction.

Core Responsibilities

1️⃣ MIS & Reporting Management

• Generate accurate MIS reports and dashboards (Daily / Weekly / Monthly).

• Manage security tool reports (EDR/XDR):

  • Agent health monitoring

  • Alert status tracking

  • Compliance reporting

  • License utilization

• Monitor KPIs including:

  • Tool performance

  • User access

  • Compliance status

• Provide analytical data support to IT and Security teams.

• Maintain structured reporting discipline and data accuracy.

2️⃣ Automation & Process Efficiency

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using:

  • Google App Script

  • Excel Macros

  • Basic scripting (JavaScript / PowerShell / Python)

• Automate repetitive reporting tasks to reduce manual effort.

• Improve reporting turnaround time through workflow optimization.

• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline MIS processes.

3️⃣ Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain structured documentation for:

  • IT tools

  • Reporting workflows

  • Automation scripts

• Perform basic coordination with vendors for issue follow-ups (minimal interaction).

• Ensure version control and process clarity for reporting systems.

Required Skills & Experience

🔹 Technical Reporting

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel

  • Pivot Tables

  • XLOOKUP

  • Advanced formulas

  • Dashboard creation

🔹 Security Tool Awareness

• Basic understanding of EDR/XDR tools

• Familiarity with:

  • Agent monitoring

  • Alerts

  • Compliance metrics

🔹 Automation & Scripting

• Working knowledge of Google App Script

• Foundational knowledge in:

  • JavaScript

  • PowerShell

  • Python

🔹 Core IT Understanding

• Basic understanding of IT tool lifecycle

• Reporting requirements across IT environments

🔹 Mindset

• Highly analytical

Preferred Qualifications

• 🎓 Graduate in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or related field

• 🧠 1–3 years experience in:

  • IT MIS

  • Security MIS

  • Tool Administration

• ➕ Advantage: Knowledge of Power BI or SQL
