Industry: Retail & Apparel | Focus: Google Sheets & Sales MIS

Job Purpose

To manage retail sales data and develop accurate, efficient MIS reports using advanced Google Sheets formulas, data analysis and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain sales, product, style code, color, designer and transaction data.

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and financial-year-wise sales MIS.

Analyze sales by Style Code, Product Category, Color, Designer and Month.

Identify Top & Bottom selling styles/products and sales trends.

Prepare product-wise and year-wise sales comparison reports.

Develop automated reports using Google Sheets formulas and functions.

Create and maintain Pivot Tables, dashboards, summaries and management reports.

Perform data cleaning, validation and reconciliation to ensure 100% data accuracy.

Identify sales trends, variances and anomalies and provide actionable insights to management.

Improve existing MIS formats and automate repetitive reporting processes.

Mandatory Google Sheets Skills

Strong hands-on knowledge of:

SUMIF / SUMIFS | COUNTIF / COUNTIFS | QUERY FUNCTION | TRIM | FILTER | SORT | UNIQUE | INDEX-MATCH | XLOOKUP | IF / IFS | IFERROR | ARRAYFORMULA | TEXT / DATE functions | Pivot Tables | Data Validation | Conditional Formatting

Candidate Profile

2–4 years of experience in MIS / Sales MIS / Retail Reporting.

Strong Google Sheets expertise is mandatory.

Good understanding of retail sales and inventory data.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Ability to convert raw data into meaningful management reports.

Experience in Apparel / Fashion / Lifestyle Retail preferred.
