About the Role

We are looking for an E-commerce Operations Executive to manage the day-to-day backend operations of Soltrade, a B2B solar products platform serving dealers, installers, EPC companies, and other solar industry customers.

The candidate will be responsible for managing orders, leads, product information, shipping charges, customer details, and operational coordination through the Soltrade platform.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

Monitor and manage incoming B2B orders through the Soltrade platform.

Verify order details, product availability, pricing, quantities, and customer information.

Coordinate with sales, vendors, and logistics teams for order processing and fulfilment.

Track order status from confirmation to dispatch and delivery.

Identify and resolve order-related issues and discrepancies.

Lead Management

Monitor new leads generated through the website, mobile app, and marketing campaigns.

Ensure leads are properly assigned to the relevant sales team.

Maintain accurate lead status and follow-up information in the system.

Track pending and converted leads and coordinate with the sales team where required.

Shipping & Logistics Management

Manage and update shipping charges based on product, quantity, weight, dimensions, destination, and delivery method.

Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams for shipment planning.

Verify shipping calculations and identify any discrepancies.

Track dispatched shipments and delivery status.

Product & Pricing Management

Maintain product information, specifications, images, availability, and other product details.

Update product pricing, offers, discounts, and other commercial information as required.

Coordinate with the product/vendor team for new product additions and updates.

Ensure product information displayed on the platform is accurate and up to date.

Backend & Platform Operations

Manage day-to-day activities through the Soltrade admin panel.

Maintain customer, dealer, vendor, and order-related information.

Generate and review operational reports.

Identify backend issues and coordinate with the technical team for resolution.

Test new platform features and report bugs or operational issues.

Coordination

Work closely with Sales, Finance, Vendors, Logistics, and Technology teams.

Coordinate with vendors/subvendors regarding product availability and order fulfilment.

Support the sales team with order, customer, product, and shipping-related information.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, order management, marketplace operations, or similar roles.

Good understanding of e-commerce order processing and fulfilment.

Experience working with admin panels, CRM, ERP, or e-commerce platforms.

Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple orders, leads, and operational tasks simultaneously.

Basic understanding of logistics, shipping, and delivery processes.

Experience in B2B e-commerce or the solar industry will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

Experience with B2B marketplaces or e-commerce platforms.

Understanding of product catalog and pricing management.

Experience with shipping/logistics platforms.

Basic understanding of CRM and lead management.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams.
