A Dispatch Executive manages the seamless movement of goods from warehouse to final destination. Core duties include preparing shipments, coordinating with transport vendors, ensuring timely delivery, and handling documentation like E-way bills and invoices
Typical Responsibilities
Order Processing: Picking, packing, and sorting items accurately before dispatch.
Documentation: Generating invoices, delivery challans, and E-way bills.
Vendor Management: Coordinating with logistics and transport companies to ensure timely pickups.
Inventory Control: Tracking stock levels and reconciling system data with physical inventory
Core Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation, negotiate with freight vendors, and optimize routing to meet service level agreements.
Documentation & Compliance: Generate tax invoices, E-way bills, packing lists, and delivery challans in compliance with regional regulations.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock counts, ensure proper product staging, and enforce FIFO (First In, First Out) methods.
Order Tracking: Track active shipments, proactively notify stakeholders of delays, and resolve delivery discrepancies.
Reporting: Reconcile physical inventory against system data and prepare daily/monthly dispatch reports for management
Key Skills Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or ERP Solution .
Strong communication and coordination skills to manage drivers and clients.
Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain fundamentals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
