Job Title: Data Entry Operator – Accounts & Order Department

Job Description

Nityas Gems & Jewellery Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Data Entry Operator to support our Accounts and Order Departments in our jewellery manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities – Order Department:

• Enter customer orders and order details accurately into company software.

• Maintain customer details, order numbers, item codes, jewellery designs and related information.

• Update order status and maintain proper order records.

• Coordinate with the Order, CAD and Production teams regarding order-related information.

• Check order details before saving or processing entries.

• Prepare daily order reports and update Excel records as required.

• SGL & IGI Certification Handling

  • Coordinate with SGL and IGI laboratories for jewellery and diamond certification.

  • Prepare jewellery items and required details for certificate submission.

  • Maintain certification records, application details and certificate status.

  • Track items sent for certification and follow up on pending reports.

  • Verify certificate details against the respective jewellery item, diamond details and company records.

  • Coordinate with internal departments for certificate corrections, updates and delivery.

  HUID Handling

  • Handle HUID-related registration, data entry and documentation as applicable.

  • Maintain accurate HUID records and link the relevant details with jewellery items.

  • Verify item information before submitting or updating HUID-related details.

  • Track pending HUID work and coordinate with the concerned team or authorised hallmarking centre.

  • Maintain proper records of completed and pending HUID activities.

  Documentation & Data Management

  • Update Excel sheets and company software with certification and HUID details.

  • Maintain proper records of jewellery items, certificates, reference numbers and status.

  • Ensure accuracy of data and avoid duplication or mismatches.

  • Coordinate with the Accounts, Order and Production departments whenever required.

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic computer knowledge and good typing speed.

• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

• Good accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain records and handle data confidentially.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Previous experience in data entry, accounts or order processing will be preferred.

• Knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems will be an added advantage.

• Freshers with good computer skills may also apply.
