Job Summary
The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining factory production, inventory, and dispatch data in company systems or spreadsheets. The role ensures proper record-keeping and timely updates to support smooth factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Enter daily production, inventory, and dispatch data into ERP or Excel sheets.
Maintain and update stock records and material movement entries.
Record GRN (Goods Received Notes), dispatch notes, and internal transfers.
Verify data with physical documents and production reports.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all entries.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and accounts teams for data verification.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of factory records.
Generate daily and weekly reports related to production and inventory.
Identify and report data mismatches or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Support audits by providing required data and documentation.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
Good typing speed and accuracy
Attention to detail and record keeping
Basic understanding of factory processes, inventory, and dispatch
Ability to handle large volumes of data
