Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Manager to oversee the credit appraisal process, assess risk, and ensure high-quality loan portfolio management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing creditworthiness, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through sound lending decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct credit appraisal and assess the financial status of loan applicants

• Evaluate credit risk and make recommendations on loan approvals/rejections

• Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy and compliance

• Monitor and manage the loan portfolio, including delinquency control

• Prepare MIS reports and maintain records for senior management

• Implement lending policies in line with RBI/NBFC guidelines

• Coordinate with sales, operations, and recovery teams for smooth loan processing

• Detect and prevent potential fraud or irregularities in the credit process

• Lead and mentor junior credit/analyst team members (if applicable)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field

• 1–3years of experience in credit/loan appraisal or financial services

• Strong analytical and numerical ability

• Proficient in MS Excel, and credit bureau reports

• Knowledge of NBFC lending guidelines and KYC norms
