Credit Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Credit Analyst to evaluate loan applications, assess creditworthiness, and support risk-controlled lending decisions. The role requires strong analytical skills and understanding of customer profiles in short-term digital lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze loan applications and verify customer documents (KYC, bank statements, income proof)

• Evaluate creditworthiness based on CIBIL score, income stability, and repayment capacity

• Conduct risk assessment to minimize NPAs

• Approve/reject loans as per company policy and underwriting guidelines

• Coordinate with sales and operations team for smooth loan processing

• Maintain accurate records of all credit decisions

• Monitor portfolio performance and highlight potential risk cases

• Support collection team with insights on risky accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field

• 06 months to 1 Year experience in lending / NBFC / fintech / credit analysis

• Strong understanding of credit evaluation and risk assessment

• Familiarity with CIBIL reports and financial documents

• Good analytical and decision-making skills

• Basic knowledge of Excel / MIS reporting
