Backend Executive

The Backend Executive – Loan Operations is responsible for supporting end-to-end loan processing activities, ensuring accurate documentation, timely data entry, and smooth coordination between internal teams and customers. The role focuses on operational efficiency, compliance, and maintaining high-quality records.

Key Responsibilities              

1. Loan Application Processing

Enter customer and loan application data into the system accurately.

Verify submitted documents for completeness and correctness.

Coordinate with sales and credit teams for missing documents or clarifications

2. Documentation & Verification

Check KYC documents (ID proof, address proof, income documents, bank statements, etc.).

Prepare loan files and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Upload, organize, and maintain digital and physical loan records.

3. System Updates & Data Management

Update loan status, approvals, disbursements, or rejections in the internal database.

Ensure all data entries meet audit and compliance standards.

Generate reports related to loan processing and disbursement.

4. Coordination & Support

Collaborate with the credit, risk, and sales teams for smooth loan workflow.

Communicate with customers (if needed) for additional information or corrections.

Support senior managers in operational tasks and departmental projects.

5. Compliance & Quality Checks

Ensure adherence to company policies, RBI guidelines, and audit requirements.

Identify discrepancies in applications and escalate issues as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in loan processing, banking, NBFC, or backend operations

Strong knowledge of loan documentation and KYC requirements.

Good computer skills (MS Office, loan management systems).

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with loan management software (LMS).

Understanding of credit underwriting processes.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance norms in financial services.
