Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate vendors/suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines
Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements
Ensure timely procurement to avoid operational delays
Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts departments
Verify invoices, GRNs, and delivery challans with Accounts
Maintain purchase records, vendor data, and documentation
Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions as required
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of procurement processes
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Coordination and follow-up skills
Basic knowledge of GST, invoices, and documentation
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 0.5 - 6+ years of experience. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
