We are a reputed law firm looking for a Legal Typist / Back Office Executive to assist Advocates in legal drafting, documentation, and office administration. The candidate should be proficient in typing, MS Office, and handling legal documents with accuracy and confidentiality.
Typing and drafting legal documents such as agreements, sale deeds, affidavits, notices, petitions, pleadings, applications, contracts, and legal correspondence
Formatting legal drafts as per court and registration standards
Data entry and maintenance of client and case records
Handling MS Word, Excel, PDF editing, scanning, and printing
Preparing documents for court filing, registration, and notarization
Maintaining physical and digital legal files systematically
Coordinating with Advocates, clerks, and clients for document-related work
Ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of all legal documents
Assisting in routine back-office and clerical work of the law office
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM or above (English; Marathi typing preferred)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Word (formatting, track changes, styles)
