Job Description – Inventory & Vendor Order Executive
Key Responsibilities:
Daily inventory/stock checking and maintaining accurate stock records.
Monitor stock levels and identify items that are low in stock or need replenishment.
Prepare purchase requirements based on current stock and business needs.
Place orders with vendors/suppliers and follow up for timely delivery.
Coordinate with vendors regarding product availability, prices, quantities, and delivery schedules.
Maintain purchase orders, invoices, delivery records, and vendor details.
Verify received material against purchase orders and report shortages or discrepancies.
Coordinate with the warehouse/store team for stock updates and proper material handling.
Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
Prepare regular inventory and purchase reports for management.
Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors.
Ensure timely purchasing of required materials while keeping costs under control.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of inventory/stock management.
Basic knowledge of purchase and vendor management.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel.
Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
Good follow-up and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience: 1–3 years in Inventory, Purchase, Store, or Vendor Management preferred.
