As the Site Coordinator for Lumen Atelier, you'll be the key representative of our design team onsite, ensuring that the lighting visions are faithfully executed during installation. You’ll bridge design intent and technical implementation—working closely with lighting designers, architects, and Owners.
Responsibilities:
1. Design & Construction Coordination
Interpret lighting designs, drawings, and specifications during on-site installation.
Liaise with contractors, electricians, and consultants to resolve installation issues proactively.
2. Site Supervision & Quality Control
Monitor installation quality, verify alignment with design plans, and ensure precision in levels, orientation, and finishes.
Keep daily site logs, photograph progress, and track deviations from design intent.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison between Lumen Atelier’s design team and on-site teams (architect, contractor, clients).
Conduct site meetings , instruction/ toolbox talk, and manage clarifications and approvals.
4. Logistics & Procurement Support
Assist with delivery schedules, storage coordination, and handling of lighting fixtures and accessories.
Track materials, flag shortages, and anticipate logistical delays.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site diaries, transmittals, and photo logs.
Maintain updated as-built drawings, submittals, and change records.
6. Team Coordination
Guide contractors, electricians, and communicate with operations staff to ensure efficient task execution and site discipline.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma/Bachelor’s in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
3–6 years experience working for architects/designers or on-site as a lighting/site coordinator—preferably for architectural lighting.
Strong aptitude for interpreting drawings and specifications, especially lighting plans and mount layouts.
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently or as a part of team.
