Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and execution-oriented Junior Interior Designer with strong hands-on experience in Kitchen Design, Modular Furniture Design, and Residential Interior Projects. This role requires end-to-end project involvement, from concept development and 3D visualization to technical drawings, site inspections, installation supervision, and final project execution.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing kitchen, furniture, and interior projects while ensuring high-quality design standards, functionality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen & Furniture Design

• Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, storage solutions, office furniture, and custom furniture layouts.

• Create innovative and functional kitchen designs based on client requirements, space planning, and usability.

• Develop furniture concepts, layouts, and detailed design solutions for residential and commercial projects.

• Prepare detailed modular furniture drawings including dimensions, hardware specifications, and production details.

Interior Design & Visualization

• Create interior design concepts, space plans, mood boards, and material selections.

• Develop high-quality 3D models, renders, and visual presentations using SketchUp, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, or similar software.

• Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback effectively.

Project Execution & Site Coordination

• Handle projects from concept to completion.

• Conduct site measurements and prepare accurate working drawings.

• Perform regular site inspections to ensure designs are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with carpenters, contractors, production teams, installers, and vendors.

• Monitor installation activities and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.

Documentation & Planning

• Prepare technical drawings, BOQs/BOMs, cutting lists, material specifications, and project documentation.

• Ensure all approvals and design revisions are properly documented.

• Work closely with sales and operations teams to align project timelines and client expectations.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in Kitchen Design, Furniture Design, or Interior Design projects.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and related design software.

• Practical experience with modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture systems, and residential interiors.

• Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, hardware, fittings, and finishes.

• Ability to manage projects independently from design to installation.

• Experience conducting site inspections and supervising project execution.

• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Own laptop for design and project-related work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with premium residential interiors and luxury kitchen projects.

• Knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of modern kitchen accessories, hardware systems, and space optimization techniques.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.

This Role Is NOT Suitable For

• Interns, trainees, or freshers.

• Designers without practical experience in kitchens, modular furniture, or interior execution.

• Candidates who are not comfortable with site visits, project coordination, and installation supervision.
