Interior Designer – Key Responsibilities
Meet clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and budget.
Develop creative interior design concepts, layouts, and space planning.
Prepare 2D/3D designs, mood boards, and presentations using design software.
Create detailed drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
Select furniture, lighting, colors, finishes, fabrics, and décor elements.
Coordinate with architects, vendors, contractors, and project teams.
Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure design execution as planned.
Ensure projects are completed within timelines and budget.
Resolve on-site design and execution issues.
Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
Maintain project documentation, client approvals, and design revisions.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, or similar design software
Strong space planning and visualization skills
Excellent creativity and attention to detail
Good communication and client handling skills
Project coordination and time management
Knowledge of materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
